Primary Mathematics Subject Leader Network Meetings

As primary education continues to evolve and teachers look to constantly strive for the best possible practise, networking can be a powerful means to sharing good ideas and supporting professional development. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that the Primary Mathematics Subject Leaders’ Network Meetings for East Sussex will be continuing this year. These provide an opportunity to hear about the latest developments in the subject, review good practise and learn about new approaches and resources. The sessions are run by a Specialist Leader of Education and also supported by other representatives from Sussex Maths Hubs as well as active teachers from the county. All attendees last year rated the sessions as either ‘useful’ or ‘very useful’.
As we are only able to run this event once each term, we have changed the start time to 13:45 to provide travel time for people from across the county to attend at High Hurstwood CEP SchoolThe dates are as follows:

8th November, 2018
7th March, 2019
20th June, 2019

The sessions are a bargain at £10 per session and we suggest you book all three (£30) at finance@st-marks.e-sussex.sch.uk to guarantee a place.

The more people who come along, the greater the pool of knowledge to share, so we really hope you are able to sign up. If you have any questions please contact John Barnes at john.barnes@littlehorsted.e-sussex.sch.uk
