I have been teaching in the primary department at St. Ann's since 1996 and I am excited and looking forward to being your child's Grade Three teacher this year! I believe in working together to ensure a successful year for your child.
As an experienced educator, I recognize the importance of creating a predictable and consistent learning environment to best support student learning and will do my best to set consistent procedures and routines in the classroom. Please refert to the parent information booklet that will be sent home at the beginning of the year for information on classroom routines and expectations.
I also consider my student's social and emotional wellness highly important and strive to foster positive relationships between students as well as students and teacher. Parent and teacher communication is a crucial component in these relationships. Parents are always welcome to contact me to check in, ask questions, or share concerns at any time. I look forward to working together to help your child meet all of their goals in Grade Three.
