Dr.Sarkar Hasan Ahmed is a highly accomplished academic and researcher in the field of Computer Science. He completed his BSc in Computer Science from the University of Duhok in 2009, then pursued an MSc in Software Development from Coventry University-UK, where he was awarded the prize for "The Best Master Students Result" in 2013. Then he completed his PhD in Improving IoT Security from SPU in 2021.

Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor at Sulaimani Polytechnic University. He has been a CISCO instructor since 2011, collaborating with other universities to offer courses in Networking Essentials, CCNA Discovery 1: Networking for Home and Small Business, and CCNA R&S: Introduction to Networks, among others.

In 2017, he received another certification in Entrepreneurship Academy from the University of Central Missouri-USA. His research interests include the Internet of Things, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, and Mobile and Web-Based Systems.
