I received Ph.D. in machine learning at Sulaimani Polytechnic University. Furthermore, I finished an M.Sc. in Advanced Computer Science at Newcastle University in the United Kingdom in 2012.

I was the Head of the IT Department at the Computer Science Institute, Sulaimani Polytechnic University (2014 to 2016). Moreover, I was one of the key founding members of establishing the Technical College of Informatics(TCI). I used to be head of the Curriculum Department at TCI. I have been also involved in several other committees as well as responsibilities.

Outside of SPU, I have to mention that I am the Co-Founder of the Kurdistan Technical Institute- Sulaimani(2015), which is a private institute. In addition, I am also the co-founder of Qaiwan University - UTM Franchise, which is a private university as well.

My research interest is focused on Machine Learning, Prediction Science, Deep Learning, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, E-government.
