Removal of Heavy Metals from Wastewater Using Low Costs Adsorbent 

In the continuation of scientific activities of the Research Center of Sulaimani Polytechnic University, a scientific seminar was held with the aim of publishing the latest research and information on soil and water in the Kurdistan Region and paying attention to water resources. Sulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU) held a scientific seminar entitled: "Removal of Heavy Substances from Wastewater using Low Costs Adsorbents" on 15 June 2022 at 11:00 pm. In the seminar, the researcher spoke about the efforts to conduct research in order to clean drinking water from heavy and harmful substances and said that they worked on the Garmian region and found that the relevant parties can be able to remove of heavy materials. Note that most of the raw materials are currently imported from abroad. The participants expressed their questions and comments in order to further enrich the scientific topic.
