I am Dr. Abdullah Ahmed Hama, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology at the College of Health and Medical Technology, Sulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU). In addition to my academic duties, I am entrusted with responsibilities related to teaching administration and supervision.

I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Biology from the College of Science, Salahaddin University. Subsequently, I completed my Master's degree at the same institution, where my research focused on the relationship between intestinal parasitic infections and malnutrition among children.

To further advance my academic and research expertise, I earned a Ph.D. in Molecular and Medical Parasitology through a collaborative program between the University of Zakho and the University of Malaya. My doctoral studies specialized in the molecular and medical aspects of parasitology, strengthening my research interests in molecular diagnostics, epidemiology, and parasitic diseases. 

Currently, I am an Assistant Professor and active researcher at Sulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU), where I contribute to teaching, research, and academic development. My research activities focus on molecular diagnostics, medical parasitology, and infectious diseases, and I actively participate in collaborative research projects within the SPU research community. I have published 46 scientific papers in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals.
