After a series of workshops and public hearings, the School Budget developed by the Board of Education and ultimately approved by the City Council represents a 3.5% increase in needs from taxes. The South Portland School Department is committed to providing quality education and facility stewardship through a fiscally responsible budget. We appreciate our community support.
