ELA Interventionist 6th-8th

I am a proud graduate of Prairie View A&M University. While in college I received my BS in Psychology, MA in Counseling and ELA Teaching Certification. With 21 years experience in education, I have taught English Language Arts from grade levels 7-12. I strongly believe that our children have the capacity to learn and grow as individuals and I take joy in participating in this progressive stage in their lives. Children can experience the best growth when the triad is focused and on the same page. The triad includes the parent, teacher and student working together to accomplish the goal of achievement. To that end, when we work together and give children what they need, they will be ready for the challenge of high school, college and going forward into the workforce with the tools of responsibility, perseverance, critical thinking and knowledge needed to succeed in the real world.
