Application Guidelines for the 2015-2016 School Year
Applicants will be placed in a lottery for their specified pathway if they meet the following requirements:
The student is currently in 8th,9th, or 10th grade and is either a resident of Spring ISD or the dependent of a Spring ISD employee.
The student is eligible for grade advancement based on course credit standings.
An 8th grade student who has been unsuccessful on STAAR must be recommended for 9th grade by the Grade Advancement Committee at the student's middle school.
The student is able to maintain continuous enrollment in the Career and Technology Education course that correlates to their chose pathway and take all other courses required for graduation. The student must be able to meet this requirement each year until graduation in order to complete a coherent sequence and earn an endorsement under the new HB 5 graduation requirements for the class of 2019.

Students applying for admission to Wunsche High School for the 2015-2016 school year can choose between the following Career Pathways:
Professional Academy Pathways:
Juniors and Seniors: Criminal Justice, Paralegal, Pre-Law
Technology Academy Pathways:
Juniors and Seniors: Construction Management, Piping and Plumbing, Welding
Medical Academy Pathways:
Juniors and Seniors: Dentistry, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Hospital Administration, Nursing
