Welcome to the Spring Grove Computing site!

You will be able to look at ICT work, watch useful videos, find links to good sites and apps to get computing practice at home and find out news and information about computing at Spring Grove School.

It's an exciting time - with the new curriculum starting in September 2014 there is more of an emphasis on creativity and programming. Watch this video to find out why it's a good idea to learn how to code.

Click here to read the National Curriculum for Computing and see how the emphasis has changed.

Read the document below to see how we plan for the children to progress in Computing lessons as they move from Form 1 to Prep 6.

Computing Overview

For more detail, parents might like to read this invaluable guide from CAS designed to help primary school teachers plan for the new curriculum, or look at the pages on this site for each year group, where you will be able to see a Computing Skills Planner for each year, from Form 1 to Prep 6.

Here is the Spring Grove Code of Conduct for ICT. All KS2 pupils and their parents have to sign this.
