Springfield Local Schools welcomes you to the SHS/SMS Athletic Departments' homepage. All Springfield athletics and extra-curricular activities are an extension of our classrooms and offer students another avenue for achievement. Springfield athletic programs provide student-athletes with lessons learned in victory and defeat, relationships that will last for a lifetime, and the memories created in the tradition of excellence and Blue Devil spirit! Go Blue Devils!

Student athletes attending both Springfield High School and Springfield Middle School enjoy state-of-the-art facilities made possible thanks to support from our community.  Home games are held in Springfield Community Stadium (football and soccer/dedicated in 2009); on our track and in the Jack Wallington Tennis Complex (dedicated in 2018) -all located on campus or in the Blue Devils' Fields complex, (dedicated in 2010) located off the main campus within the district.  Links for directions are available on this website under the "Directions" tab at the top of the page.
