Race Results! by GC Racing

When: Sunday June 28th, 2009

Course Description:This is a variation of an old Spokane favorite. The 20-mile counterclockwise circuit starts in the channeled scablands along Coulee Creek and winds up a 1.5-mile climb on Four Mound Road up onto Four Mound Prairie. Once on the top the course offers rolling hills on country roads.  Wind is often a factor on the prairie. The course turns south on Wood Road and then east on Coulee Hite Road before starting a one-mile decent back into the valley. Although “the climb” is significant, it’s only a small part of the circuit. All-arounders typically do well on this course.

Categories/Classes:  All WSBA Masters and Juniors classes will be run. There will be one non-championship elite field; Category 4/5 Men. See the race flyer for more details.

Distance:See the race flyer for details on your race. Juniors C and Juniors D go 12 miles clockwise on the loop to the finish, all other fields go counterclockwise. The circuit is 20 miles, plus approximately 7 more miles to the finish line.

Support Vehicles:All fields will have support vehicles. Some fields will have neutral support. Assume "wheels-in/wheels-out" unless announced otherwise.

Feed Zone: We now plan to offer neutral water. The feed zone is also available for individual/team feeds at the top of the hill on Four Mound Road. Feeders must park on Craig Road (no parking on Four Mound Road). Use Pine Bluff Road to get to Craig Road.
