Welcome to SMS Guidance!

School Counselors are an integral part of the school program and they aim to coordinate the efforts of students, parents, administrators, and faculty.

The School Counseling Department at Sparta Middle School is a support system to help your child negotiate the middle school years, a time of great physical, mental, and emotional change.

Meet your counselors!

Welcome back for an exciting and fun-filled 2023-2024 school year! We look forward to assisting you and your child during their middle school career!

Our goal as your child’s school counselor is to see that your child receives the necessary assistance to make his or her middle school years a time of academic achievement, social growth and personal discovery. We are always available for all students for individual counseling and group guidance activities. We believe that all students should be able to learn in an environment that meets their needs in order to achieve success. Working together, we can provide a respectful and encouraging environment that helps our students meet present and future challenges in an ever changing society.
