Today we will be celebrating Lights On Afterschool. Lights On Afterschool is celebrated nationally and it’s a day for ALL afterschool programs to show off. If you’re in a sport or enrolled in after school program we would like your parents to come and check out the program!! We will having raffles and a guest create a Lights On banner for our school.


Students: The Compact for Success field trip to San Diego State University is coming up next Saturday, October 29th.  Bring a parent and learn how to get guaranteed admission to SDSU.  You will experience a fun-filled morning with lots of prizes and giveaways.  You will get to tour SDSU, get a free t-shirt, free drawstring backpack, enjoy a free lunch and receive a free dress pass.  Don’t miss out!  Stop by the counseling center in Relo 3 to pick up your registration form.

Girls’ soccer will only be practicing Monday’s until the season starts in January.


Girls interested in playing volleyball…please see Mrs. Barba in the computer lab, Room 803.


Students the computer lab will be open every morning from 7-8am…please come work on your assignments and print out your homework!!! No more excuses to your teachers, take advantage today!


Students our Halloween Dance is coming up, are you cleared yet? Please make sure you clear both library and AP non-privileged lists by next Wednesday, October 26.  Students who are on either list will not be allowed to attend next week’s Halloween dance on Thursday.  See Ms. Serrano in Relo 1 if you have any questions regarding the AP non-privileged lists or Ms. Gutierrez in the library for any questions regarding the library non-privileged lists.


Interested in art?  Come join the artist workshop afterschool on Monday from 3:00-4:30 in room 502 with Mr. Ortiz.
