We would like to invite you to be a part of the Southside ISD Education Foundation (SEF). The Southside ISD Education Foundation was created in 2008 in order to seek, cultivate, and obtain funds to be used for developing and expanding educational opportunities for students of our Southside Independent School District (SISD). In order to support our annual programs such as the Southside Education Foundation Annual Golf Tournament, basketball tournament and Casino Night, we are always looking for active, generous community members and professionals to join us in order to make a better future. Southside ISD Education Foundation meetings are every 1st Tuesday of the Month at 6pm held in the Main Board Room. Unless otherwise announced. The foundation has given out more than $6000 in new teacher grants and helped to fund a district wide STEM project call Student Space Flight Program with two $5000 grants which allows for students to compete to send an experiment to space to be tested on the International Space Station.  SEF has given more than 25,000 in student scholarships in the last two years and more than $32,000 in Innovation grants in 2018 and 2019. For more information contact the Southside ISD Education Foundation Executive Director, Sylvia Rincon at 210-882-1600 ext.5119.
