Videos that teach!

Today's Digital Learners

* length of video is 07:44 minutes

This video, entitled Pay Attention, was created by Darren Draper in an effort to motivate teachers to more effectively use technology in their teaching.  Since most of today's students can appropriately be labeled as "Digital Learners", why do so many teachers refuse to enter the digital age with their teaching practices? Mr Draper says, "Your comments and constructive feedback are greatly appreciated".

A Vision of College Students Today

 * length of video is 04:44 minutes

A short video summarizing some of the most important characteristics of students today - how they learn, what they need to learn, their goals, hopes, dreams, what their lives will be like, and what kinds of changes they will experience in their lifetime.

Created by Michael Wesch in collaboration with 200 students at Kansas State University.

Is the Machine Us/ing Us?

 * length of video is 04:33 minutes

This video was created by me (Michael Wesch), working alone from my house in St. George, Kansas. I used CamStudio for the screen captures and Sony Vegas for the panning/cropping/zooming animations. Someday I might make a video tutorial for those who are interested.
