Welcome to South! South Salem High School is the only high school in Salem Oregon that is an ASCA (American School Counselor Association) recognized RAMP designated recipient! At South, our counseling program is committed to delivering a comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program.  In partnership with the community, the Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling Program at South Salem High School is committed to promoting and enhancing student academic achievement, career development, personal/social growth, and community involvement, advocating for equity and access for every student, aligned with South Salem High School and the Salem-Keizer School District. 

The counseling center is here to serve you and your student. Your student is assigned a counselor by his or her last name. Our office hours are Monday – Friday, 7:15am – 3:15pm. Our counselors can be reached by email or by calling 503-399-2644 to schedule an appointment.
