Moodle Basics for Faculty (2 and a half hours)

Instructor: Hart Wilson
In this introductory course, you will learn about Moodle's resources and tools first by participating as a student in a Moodle course site and then by working in your own practice course site as an instructor. Topics include types of discussion forums and assignments, course settings, file uploading, course calendar, and email. Many helpful tips are offered for organizing and managing your Moodle course site.

Preregistration is requested to ensure a practice course is created for you. For more information or to register, contact Hart Wilson.

Making Moodle Work for You (1 hour)

Instructor: Hart Wilson
This highly interactive session is designed for faculty who are already working with Moodle and wish to take greater advantage of Moodle's integrated organization and advanced features. Rather than follow a set agenda, we'll discuss what's most on your mind: course organization, assignment links, the attendance feature, grading strategies, and other tools to accomplish your objectives.

Preregistration is requested. For more information or to register, contact Hart Wilson.

  Moodle Quizzes (1 hour)

Preregistration is requested. For more information or to register, contact Hart Wilson.

  Moodle Grade Book (1 hour)

Instructor: Hart Wilson
You'll save time and reduce frustration when you attend this one-hour session on working with the grade book in Moodle. Participants will learn how to select the appropriate aggregation method, create items and categories, organize items, enter grades and feedback, and view user reports.

Preregistration is requested. For more information or to register contact Hart Wilson.
