What's MI KidLib?
Inspired by the annual KidLibCamp event hosted by the Darien Library (CT), 3 Michigan youth librarians decided to host an unconference here in our home state.

What's an unconference??
An unconference means that the attendees vote AT the unconference on what the topics of discussion will be. We'll take your list of suggestions ahead of time and take a quick vote during the welcome session at 10 a.m.

So whether you're into preschool STEAM activities, makerspaces, or storytimes, you can have a say in what we talk about! Please suggest a topic!  If you're willing to help lead one of the group discussions, please note that too.

How do I register?
Registration is open now! And the unconference registration is totally FREE. But please bring some cash for lunch as we plan to have food delivered.
9:00-10:00 Registration
10:00 Welcome and Session Voting
10:30-11:15 Break-Out Session #1
11:30-12:30 Break-out Session #2

2:45 Feedback and Sharing Session

All preregistered attendees will receive a signed certificate of attendance, but CEUS are not available.

We plan to help arrange carpools among people who will be coming from similar locations. We will be in touch with attendees who indicate an interest in carpooling when they register.
