"Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world." --Archimedes

Over 2.2 billion people can connect to the internet. Simple ideas that previously only inspired friends and neighbors now have no boarders. Imagine how helping your cousin with their homework, setting up an email list with friends, or sharing yourhomework can give small ideas a big voice. Not every website changes the world, but any website can. And they don't have to result in an IPO to matter in the lives of your students.

We've designed this website to test Archimedes words, asking whether a handful of technology educators can move a world of students to find and honor unsung heroes and inspire students to their own acts of service and citizenship. Who changed your life? Share your world!

The Somebody's Hero Project launched at #GTANY hopes to create a viral lesson plan, available for any teacher to adopt and adapt, and offer a central community where we can all celebrate and promote heroes and the service they inspire.
