Guidelines

The Solon Community School District receives many requests from community organizations to distribute informational materials to students and parents on a monthly and weekly basis.  We are happy to provide the Virtual Backpack as a medium for distributing educational community activities.

All flyers distributed to students/parents must receive approval from the building office. Please allow sufficient time for your flyer to be approved and process.

Please provide a link or e-mail an electronic version of your flyer to one of the following building secretaries to receive approval.

  • Lakeview Elementary - Becky Lighty (blighty@solon.k12.ia.us)
  • Solon Intermediate - Jamie Cummings (jcummings@solon.k12.ia.us)
  • Solon Middle School -  Mary Ann Jedlicka (majedlicka@solon.k12.ia.us)
  • Solon High School - Kelly Foster (kfoster@solon.k12.ia.us)

If you have the flyer posted on your own website, please provide us a link. If your flyer is not available online, we will host it for you. All information will remain posted for approximately for one month or until the activity/information is no longer relevant.

Click on your child's building link on the left in order to view the up-to-date virtual backpack fliers.
