New Class: Preparing Students for Ohio's New English and Math Online Assessments - November 19th

posted Oct 10, 2014, 11:15 AM by Caryn Kelley
Testing can be stressful for both students and teachers, especially when it’s done in a new format. The new PARCC Assessment, using technology-enhanced test items, will look very different to students. This course will provide teachers with tools and resources to help their students with the tasks and technology used in the assessment. It will help your district successfully implement online testing, with a focus on PARCC and on student growth.

Teachers, Administrators and Staff Who Attend This Workshop Will Learn:

• how to prepare staff and what roles various staff members will play
• why online testing skills are critical to our students’ success
• specific computer skills students must master to be successful
• how to schedule time for student practice
