Session Description: 
In this hands-on session, participants will use Land Art Generator Initiative (LAGI) design cubes to prototype a renewable energy art form. Learn how these design cubes and the imagination of your students can be used to power our future. Supports 3rd-6th grade Common Core Math and Ohio New Learning Science Standards with summative assessment and rubrics provided. Learn a new game that you can share with your students, friends and family! This workshop is for educators and non-educators alike. All materials provided.
Presenter Bio:
Katie Henry is a 5-8th grade STEAM teacher from Brookville, Ohio. She is a licensed K-12 integrated technology instructor, K-9 principal, and K-5 teacher with 6 years of teaching experience. In 2015, she won 4 STEM teaching awards, including the Outstanding Technology-Using Teacher of the Year Award (ITIP Ohio) and ISTE Making IT Happen Award. Katie is passionate about developing innovative and multidisciplinary STEAM curricula to support K-12 public educators.
