Welcome to Freshmen Geography!

Period: 4th
Room: Frates 325

This course is the first in a series of three courses that students take between Freshmen and Junior year.  The course is comprised of two main sections: Theory of Knowledge (Epistemology), and the physical, cultural and political aspects of Geography.  In the Theory of Knowledge portion of the course we will focus on learning how we learn and why it is important to understand the nature and problem of knowledge.   The Geography component of the course is focused on geo-literacy and why it is an essential life skill.
Student and parent feedback is encouraged.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at apanlilio@stmchs.org.

Please reach out if a parent or relative has an expertise or resources to share with our class.  Parents can expect email communication with updates regarding what we are discussing in class.  Hopefully, this course will enhance communication within your family and students will share information learned in the Geography class.
