  • Notes from the CUBMASTER!

    Bryan Maxwell
  • September 2017
Welcome to another year of Cub Scouts! I’m happy that you and your parents have chosen to take part in our Pack.  The leaders and I are excited to help you along your personal Scout path. Please let me know if I can assist you or answer any questions that you may have.  I can be reached at 713-397-1557 or brymax13@yahoo.com. Also, please see my wife, Eva, to sign up for text message reminders that the Pack sends out prior to all our events. If anyone has any
ideas or thoughts on how to make our pack better, or would like to suggest an outing event, please let us know. We look forward to helping you along the way to the rank of Eagle.

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America...

Parent Action Items

Please parents make sure your Den Leaders have all the correct contact information:  Phone numbers, addresses, and email so we are able to pass down all the great Scout info and events.
  • Check out the "Contact the Leaders" page. Our leaders have new email addresses.
  • Add the leader emails to your contacts
  • Browse around the new website and get familiar with it
Parents must take the Youth Protection Training!

https://my.scouting.org/

You do not have to be a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America to take Youth Protection training.

To take Youth Protection training go toMy.Scouting.org  and create an account. You’ll receive an email notification with your account information, including a member ID/reference number.

From the My.Scouting.org  portal, click Menu then My Dashboard from the menu list. The My Training page displays to take Youth Protection training. Upon completion, you may print a training certificate to submit with a volunteer application. Your training will automatically be updated in our system and associated with the member ID/reference number issued when you created the account.

When your volunteer application is approved, you will receive a BSA membership card that includes your member ID number.
