The SGA holds Senate meetings every Tuesday night in Schafer Hall, Room 106 at 8:15 p.m. Student
Speak Out is held at the beginning of every meeting and is an opportunity for all students to come speak to the Senate about problems on campus, or express their appreciation for the things that are going well. The remainder of the meeting involves the Senators and other Officers giving reports, Guest Speakers coming to present, and legislation being presented and voted on. Through Senate meetings, the SGA is able to gauge what on-campus issues are important to students and then act as a liaison between the student body and the administration. Senate meetings also provide time to discuss ideas for SGA events and initiatives.
