          三月八日(星期二) 各大报章和媒体皆报导圣玛利日校将于2016年6月学期完会暂时停办日校幼稚园至八年级课程。关闭日校消息是痛心的决定, 因为日校与中文学校携手走过了差不多一个世纪的作育英才使命,成就了社会上无数的成功人士。

圣玛利中文学校一向收支平衡,运作正常,今后周末中文班继续开办,校长及教职员仍以爱心、热心、奉献及专业的精神,和灵活的教学,去培养学生有一份「活学活用」我国五千多年文化和宗教的心── 诚恳对人对事、勤勉读书任事、孝敬父母师长、敬业乐业和爱人如己。以能负起薪火相传中华文化而骄傲自豪为己任。

周末中文班除了语言文字的培育,也有书法、珠心算及操演和舞狮文化学习。

恳请家长们能与学校配合共同协助贵子女学业有成,使他们能回报父母恩,做福社会人群。

圣玛利中文中学校服务华人社区九十多年,一直以培育儿童及青少年为己任。我校拥有一批有爱心、有经验、高水平的师资,教授中国语言、歴史和文化,传播中华道德、传统和习俗。圣玛利学校现已迁入新校舍。新校舍为一幢二十一世纪的一流的教学大楼,宽敞明亮;教室内装置了多项辅助教学的先进的设备:电脑、宽屏电视机、投影机等等。新校位于华埠中心地带,交通方便,泊车容易,因而更方便利用其他社区资源。
我们为莘莘学子制定了如下的切合实际的课程及教学计划:
- 国语班(幼稚园至高中三年级)
- 书法班及珠心算班
- 中文AP测验的备考教材及实例列入初中三至高中三的教学内容
- 教阅读以繁体字为主,教写字以简体字为
- 加强对个别后进学生的辅导
 除了上述的计划之外,我们还准备针对青少年及成年人的不同的需要,开办其它的新的班级。包括珠心算,书法班等。


St. Mary’s Chinese Language School has been serving the community for over 90 years, teaching Chinese language, culture, and history to youths of all ages.  Now St. Mary’s has moved into its new school building at 838 Kearny Street.  This is a 21st century, state-of-the-art building with spacious and well-lit classrooms.  To facilitate teaching and learning, classrooms are equipped with many exciting technological tools – computers, wide-screen TVs, projection screens, etc.  The new school building is located in the heart of Chinatown, with convenient public transportation, parking, and easy access to community resources.

In addition to the following programs, new classes will be formed to accommodate the needs and demands of the children, youth, and their families.

Mandarin lessons  (K through 12)
Scheduled Chinese culture and art  enhancement, mental math/abacus classes
Test preparation provided as part of curriculum for Advanced Placement (AP) in Chinese 
Traditional and Simplified Chinese taught as part of the curriculum; goal – read Traditional, write Simplified Chinese characters
Individualized student attention
