1.     Students are to work on:

a.     Topic 9 part 1 from their homework sheet: 

Pg’s 29 - 32 #’s 1-7, 10, 11, 13

b.     Complete any questions not completed from log sheet:

page 86 #’s 27 and 29a on (from Topic 3 on your log sheet),

page 95 #14 on (from topic 5 on your log sheet). 

Page 118-119  #’s 12, 16, 22ab (from topic 8 on your log sheet)

Page 125-126 #’s 11, 12

(I skipped all of the velocity questions on purpose page 118 #11 page 125 #10)  

c.      “Differentiate” handout has been posted in the classroom.  All answers should be in fully simplified form.  This handout is due by Thursday.

Hi Grade 12's 
This is the lesson for the day (It is attached as a PDF below).  If something doesn't work, please send me an email in the morning.  I will check and fix the issue.  

Please reference your initial rate of change lesson if you need additional support.

Part 3 and 4 of graphing assignment due Monday.  This should involve values (numbers), and a sentence or two to explain - that is all.  T 

Quiz on Tuesday will cover up to and including Thursday's lesson.

Work on Urban sprawl - part 2
Instructions are posted in the "Stream" section of the google.
How to complete a regression should be posted somewhere in the classroom by Mr. Columbus.
This is due Thursday, November 5 by 11:59pm.  Everyone should know how to post now.  
Use your time well.

1.  login in to website
2.  choose class on top of screen MHF 4U
3.  go to CONTENT tab on top of screen.
4.  Choose Unit 2
5.  Choose Activity 7 - graphing polynomial functions - part 2 
6.  Go through examples 1 and 2.  Copy example 1 and 2 into your notes (Use regular long division - not synthetic).  The title would be:  Rational Functions with an Oblique Asymptote. 
7.  Hand in on Wednesday graph(s) of function(s) assigned in class.

5.  Choose Activity 2 - families of polynomial functions.  Go through the lesson and examples.
