Patrick Fogarty Catholic Secondary School - Hockey Canada Skills Academy

Attention Grade 8 and Grade 9 students in the Orillia and surrounding area! We are currently accepting applications for our next Hockey Canada Skills Academy that will begin in September 2022. Patrick Fogarty Catholic Secondary School is proud to offer a Hockey Canada Skills Academy to all genders of students in Grades 9 and 10. The Hockey Canada Skills Academy is an inclusive learning environment that will help student athletes learn and improve on advanced individual skills and tactics, while developing a lifestyle on and off the ice that emphasizes building character through achieving both athletic and scholastic success. Purposeful practices led by highly trained staff, strength and conditioning designed to maximize physical attributes, and a focus on health, leadership, and active living, will all position the student athlete to achieve their individual goals. Students enrolled in the Hockey Canada Skills Academy receive two physical education credits. They will also gain invaluable boosts in self confidence, self esteem, responsibility, accountability, discipline and work ethic.
