X-Treme Team MoonBots 2012 Mission

Picture this -- the year is 2075....

Thanks to the sparks of innovation ignited by the Google Lunar X-Prize challenge, the moon is now bustling with activity. Lunar research and technology centers are integral to continued lunar exploration and habitation. Bio Domes with plant life to produce oxygen and food have been built. Large solar fields now span across peaks of the lunar surface to enable inhabitants to power lunar operations and collect energy for earth consumption.

The Heritage Artifacts are now protected as a historical site mandated by the International Historical Society Act of 2022. In continuation with the GLXP’s original mission that concluded in 2015, robots continue to mine for vital resources like silicon and water/ice. That is where we take you now.

THIS IS YOUR MISSION SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT
THE X-TREME LUNAR CHALLENGE:

X-Treme Team Moonbots 2012 Missions

You have five minutes to complete as many missions as possible. Missions have been broken into two different levels to accommodate a range of robotic engineering and programming skills.

Now, five minutes might seem like a lot of time but beware - a meteor shower has been detected and will rain down upon the lunar surface and lunar ridge only four minutes into your mission run!

Good luck, and bot speed!
