- The Cognitive Neuroscience of Stress Lab is located in the Department of Psychology at Saint Louis University
- We are interested in how psychological stress affects attention, learning, memory, social cognition and decision making.
- We use neuroendocrine (cortisol), autonomic nervous system (heart rate variability, skin conductance, pupil diameter), somatic muscles (EMG), and eye-tracking methodology to examine how stress affects cognition.
Potential graduate students: If you're interested in applying to graduate school at SLU and working in the CNS lab, please email Dr. Buchanan (email@example.com).
