I am seeking a PhD student interested in studying coexistence and/or climate
change impacts on semi-arid plant communities. At least four years of full
funding is available. During the first year, the student will have an
opportunity to lead a field study describing patterns of soil water use in
dominant plants of the sagebrush steppe. After the first year, the student
will have complete freedom to develop independent research. Work in my lab
