WELCOME to SLMS Art!
I am so excited to welcome you to the Saranac Lake Middle School family of artists! There are so many good things happening in the art room and around the town. The District Wide Art Show will be in the Town Hall. Opening night will be May 11th and we hope to see you there!

Art Clubs have had a busy and exciting year! From jewelry making to casting and so much more! Club will begin again in October:-)

In April and May the Art room will open to the 7th grade life casting teams every Monday at lunch and recess.

Congratulations to Georgia Bickford who won the Lion's Club Peace Poster contest! Kelsey Leeret and Elyssa Ezumah were recognized as runner up winners.

Tasman Kanze and Morgan Olsen won 2nd and 3rd in the Enterprise's Design an Ad contest!

LIFE IS GOOD has a t-shirt design contest- Grand Prize is a $2000 scholarship! Our contest entries are on the way to Life is Good:-)

 Life Long Art new class will offer you the chance to solve problems, explore materials and work collaboratively with classmates. Explore casting, create murals, design mosaics...what will you choose?

Standard 1: Creating, Performing and

that constitute creation and performance in the
