A long-standing SkyHawk tradition, Skutt Catholic students celebrated the end of the first week of school with a Popsicle Day. 

Skutt Catholic Chapter of HOSA

The Skutt Catholic Chapter of HOSA, Healthcare Occupations Students Association, is starting our second year. We meet one Friday a month at 7:10 a.m. in Mr. Engelkamp's room D118. HOSA offers opportunities for students to learn more about the various fields and careers available in healthcare. Our next large group meeting is Fri., Sept. 8, 2017 at 7:10 a.m.

The Fall Play, The Last Night of Ballyhoo

The Fall Play, The Last Night of Ballyhoo by Alfred Uhry will open on Thurs., Sept. 14 at 7:30 p.m. The play follows the Freitags, a wealthy Jewish family living in Atlanta in 1939. Europe has been plunged in to World War II and the Jewish people "over there" are suffering greatly. What are the Freitags worried about? They are wondering who's going to be at Ballyhoo, the social event of the season. Enjoy this comedy about faith, family, and the courage to be who you are.

Freshman Parent Meeting for Spring Break trip March 2019

There will be a parent meeting for those FRESHMAN interested in the Spring Break trip in March 2019 to Italy on Wed., Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. in room A150. This trip is open to ONLY current freshmen! Come to the meeting and learn about the trip - we will travel to Venice, Assisi, Florence, Rome, Vatican City, and Sienna! Imagine a spring break with your classmates as you discover the Italian culture and visit the places you have studied about - this trip will fill up fast, don't miss out!!! Senior Pictures - NEW this Year 

Dear Skutt Catholic Seniors & 

Please submit or have your photographer submit senior photos by Tues., Oct. 31, 2017. Photos submitted after this date will not be guaranteed publication in the yearbook.

You may go to any photographer you choose… however, the photograph submitted for use in the yearbook must meet the following specifications to the satisfaction of the yearbook adviser. Please take the specifications with you to your photo shoot to make sure your photographer is aware of the requirements.

  • Photos should be four-color digital images, submitted electronically. 
  • Photos should be high-resolution 300 dpi, jpg or png file saved in an RGB format. 
  • The photo should be cropped and resized to a vertical, wallet-size photo (approximately 2.5 X 3.5). Please leave 1/8 of an inch between the top of the head and the top of the picture. 
  • The background should not be distracting and should contrast with the student’s clothing color. 
  • The student’s pose should be a head and shoulders shot. Avoid extreme angles and hands in the photo. 
  • Clothing should be school appropriate. No spaghetti straps, cold shoulder tops, tank tops, or shirts with wording are permitted. Skutt spirit wear is permitted. 
  • No props or hats are allowed. No items should appear in front of the student (i.e. car, tree trunk, fence, etc.). Note: Photos may need to be cropped by the yearbook staff to insure uniformity of size. Hands and arms will be cropped as necessary since head and shoulder shots are requested.
