Future Business Leaders of America

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) has had an active year so far!

We were fortunate to hear Mr. Don Eckles, co-founder of Scooter's speak at our September meeting.

In October, a group of students headed to Nebraska Medicine to learn about the organization plus do team activities on branding and values.  We also performed service at the Food Bank for the Heartland.

FBLA members had fun attending the UNL Path to Success Conference in November where we heard former Husker football player Matt Davison and Olympic Gold Medalist Curt Tomasevicz speak about leadership. We are looking forward to our second annual college panel of Skutt Catholic alumni in December.

Next semester will include more guest speakers, field trips, competitions, and our third annual February Food Drive. FBLA meets approximately two Thursday mornings a month. If you would be interested in speaking at one of our meetings or hosting us for an event at your workplace, please contact the FBLA adviser Elizabeth Rudden at
