Student Absent?

We always need parents to notify the school with a phone call when a student will miss school. A member of the school staff is on duty at 7 a.m. each day or you may leave a message on our voice mail. Please don’t neglect to call; it’s for the safety of your child. Refer to the Absentee Policy for detailed information regarding absences in excess of two days or absences for personal trips. Visit our website at to find a copy of the Absentee Policy that is included in the Student Handbook.

Math Tutor Available

Did you know that Skutt Catholic has a math tutor available to students during their study hall?

George Paulchak volunteers nearly 30 hours a week tutoring students in mathematics. Mr. Paulchak has been working in this capacity at SC for 14 years.

If you have an interest in Mr. Paulchak working with your student, please call the Guidance Office to check on his availability.

How Do You Receive the SkyHawk Scene?

The SkyHawk Scene is electronically emailed every month except June/July and December/January which are combined and emailed the first of June and the first of December. Don’t forget that you can print the SkyHawk Scene from your computer to your printer. If you do not have access to a computer, let us know. We have a few copies in the front office that can be picked up or we can send the newsletter home with your student.

Important Traffic Pattern Notice

There are three entrances to our school property, the south entrance, the main/middle entrance and the north entrance.

The south entrance will allow traffic to enter and exit our property by a right turn ONLY.

The main/middle entrance (where the traffic light is) will allow traffic to enter and exit our property by either a right or left turn.

The north entrance (near the tennis courts) will also allow traffic to enter and exit our property by either a right or left turn. There will be no traffic signal to help at this entrance, so mature judgment will be necessary.

Important to note: There will be two-way traffic coming and going along the circular drive in front of the school. There will be NO STOPPING AND NO PARKING, anywhere along the drive.

The traffic flow for parents to drop off and pick up students will be through the student parking lot and then along the one-way lane adjacent to the gym entrance DUE TO CONSTRUCTION WE ARE EXTENDING TO INCLUDE THE DRIVE LANE IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL FOR DROP OFF ONLY. In general, when parents come to pick up children after school, it is suggested that they find a parking spot in the main student parking lot and request that their children come there to find them.
