MIS After-School Care

Do you need After-School Care?

The After- School Care department at Malmö International School looks after the students outside of the normal school hours. After-School Care (Fritids) staff work closely with the students, providing a range of pedagogical activities for all age groups, whilst following the After-School Care curriculum according to Swedish law.

We assist and help guide the students with finding their interests and giving them an opportunity and a way to immerse themselves in these. We offer students a meaningful After-School Care and strengthen camaraderie by providing time and space for play, exploring, creativity and curiosity.

We work on developing the students' social skills and their ability to manage conflict. We believe in learning through play, as a starting point to develop the students' social, emotional and cognitive skills and mutual understanding. We encourage students to listen to and learn from others. We work with, among other things, drama, poetry, singing, reading and physical education.

We strive to create an educational awareness and a stimulating learning environment that is based on the students' interests, curiosity and needs.

MIS After-School Care is open before school from 07.00 and after school from 14.30-17.30

Breakfast is served at 07.30 and snack at 14.30-15.00
During the school holidays we are open from 07.00-17.30

If your child is in need of After-School Care you will need to apply by filling in the correct forms. Please contact us if you need help with this.
