Stewart Morales

Mr. Morales was born and raised in the Bronx. He graduated from the Bronx High School of Science and earned his Bachelor of Arts, in Politics, at the New York University College of Arts and Science.

After a business career in the music, magazine and comic book publishing fields, he transitioned into education in 2008. Mr. Morales was accepted into the NYC Teaching Fellows Program and earned a Master of Science, with Honors, degree in Special Education at CUNY City College while teaching at a public school in the Bronx.

With a New York State Professional License in Middle Childhood Education, Mr. Morales joined the teachers at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Academy in Flatbush in 2012. There he taught grades 5 to 8 for 8 years and enjoyed using his magazine publishing experience to help the students create the annual 8th grade year books. He has been our incredible 5th and 6th grade Math teacher at SJWCA for the past two years.

When Mr. Morales is not crunching numbers, he likes collecting Star Wars memorabilia, books, comics and toys. He also likes making T-Shirts and spending time with his wife Susan and their two cats.
