MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Junction Elementary School Community is to promote life-long learning by delivering a well rounded education to every student in a safe, nurturing environment that values community participation and involvement.
Junction Elementary School is located on Hwy. 96, in Rural Northern California’s Siskiyou County. The school is also located near Katim’iin, the center of the Karuk world, where Masuhsava (Salmon River) meets Ishkeesh (The Klamath River). With a view of the cone shaped mountain Sugar Loaf.

Junction Elementary School District
A Public Hearing will be held on the proposed LCAP and Budget for the Junction Elementary School District for the 2024/2025 school year at 5:30 on June 25, 2024 at the Junction School - 98821 Highway 96 Somes Bar, CA 95568. These budgets may be inspected at the school (98821 Highway 96 Somes Bar, CA 95568) or by contacting the Junction School at 530-469-3390, beginning Thursday, June 20, 2024. The Budgets and meeting agenda will also be posted on our website on the above date.
