2022: The city of Fort Jones is distinguished as California’s first Smart Rural Community, with Etna and Happy Camp to follow. The first of many Wi-Fiber locations are initially launched in Happy Camp.

2023: The State Middle Mile project was approved and is currently under construction (through 2025).

2024: Fiber-to-the-home completed in the rural communities of Hamburg, Seiad Valley and West Horse Creek.

2025: Fiber-to-the-home projects completed in the rural community of Sawyers Bar and are underway in the rural areas of Fort Jones, Somes Bar, Forks of the Salmon and Oak Knoll.
