(October 23 and November 2, 2017)

Teachers will continue exploring SISCL’s Past Instructional/Professional Learning Foci, Teacher Practices that support the foci, and their alignment to Danielson, and the Quality Review Rubric.   We will discuss how they know what the impact of their practices are on student achievement.  Teachers will learn ways to collect evidence of Impact, and how to analyze the evidence by using SISCL Protocols (Learning from Student Work and Quantitative Data Analysis) Impact teams choose one Instructional/Professional Learning focus to support their personal goals and improve their pedagogy, determine the Instructional practices to support that focus (SISCL Library), and will determine the evidence that they will collect of the impact, and how the impact will be measured.  They will focus this 10-week cycle on What is the student Impact?  What are our next steps and the student’s next steps, based on that Impact?

Topics and Objectives
We will continue to reflect on our practices that support our Instructional / Professional
Learning Foci: What we do   and Instructional Practices: How we do it, and the way they are
aligned to the Well Developed indicators of the Quality Review Rubric
We will explore how (the ways that) our Foci and Instructional Practices impact student
        achievement.
Ask: What is the student impact? (How are they effected?)
We will synergize ways that we can measure the impact. (Evidence)
Ask: What is the evidence of that impact?
Impact teams will self reflect and choose one Instructional/Professional learning Focus that will
become their Instructional improvement goal for this cycle.
Impact teams will determine the impact that their practices will have on student achievement
Impact teams will determine the ways that they will measure the impact (evidence)
