Greetings! My name is Mrs. Tina Karsten and I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in Kindergarten, so every day is a dream come true! I am a kind person who is honest, understanding and fun! I am open to new ideas and suggestions. I like to have fun while we are learning at school, because I love my job!
I grew up in Menomonie and had lived there most of my life, except for the time I was in college. I attended St. Paul's Lutheran School for grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. I then attended Menomonie Middle and High School and graduated in 1999. I graduated from UW River Falls in 2004 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics. I graduated in August of 2021 with a masters degree in Teaching and Learning, with an emphasis in Math Intervention.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I am married to Mr. Karsten and we have two children. I like to stay busy with a variety of activities. I enjoy going camping, watching my children play sports, and staying busy. I also love learning and watching others learn!
