Picture Slideshow

Students will create a picture slideshow using a minimum of 20 photographs with 5-6 songs.  Students may use digital photos from home that represent something special to them or have a unique theme.  The songs must be in mp3 or wav files and be appropriate for school. Be sure that the music complements the images displayed. (Don't have metal hard  rock with pictures of little kittens )  Be sure to explore video transitions and use effects from the program movie maker.

Video Collage

Students will create a video collage using a variety of videos provided in class. Students will use Window Movie Maker to import and edit their video in class. The video must use at lease 5 different video segments to create a video over 60 seconds long.
Collage Videos you must be logged in to google apps.

VIDEO COLLAGE

Students will create a video collage by using the selected videos from Mr. Guptill.  These videos will be found in the W: drive under "New Assignments!!!"

Students will use Windows Movie Maker and practice splicing video clips together.  The assignment should have 6 to 15 different cuts used from a variety of videos.

Students may experiment with the wide variety filters, transitions, speed, or sound options.

The length of the final video should be one to two minutes in length.

Final video MUST BE converted from a video project into a video file (MP4, MPEG, MOV)

Purpose: Students show they know how to Import videos into Movie Maker, Edit, Videos, and save the final video into the Turn in Basket on the W: video-tech drive.

9/20/13 Video Collage Due

Students will finish their video collage videos and turn them into the W: drive video tech folder. Save a final video file in the turn in basket/video collage.  Do not turn in a project file made with MovieMaker, but turn in a published video (i.e. .mp4, wmv)
