Hyung Min Yoon, Ph.D.
President/CEO & Co-Founder
 
Mr. Hyung Min Yoon is a Chief Executive Officer who has more than 15 years of R&D experiences in computer architecture in various fields, and who now oversees the company's technical and business strategy.

Prior to co-founding Siliconarts, Inc., Mr. Yoon served as a Project Leader at Samsung Electronics where he drove various R&D projects in establishing the long-term technology strategy and in materializing next generation concepts and technologies into end-user IT solutions and products. His leadership roles include the development project on 3D Entertainment Hardware and Software Architecture and the development project on the world's first mobile RFID chip solutions. Previously, Mr. Yoon served as a CEO and CTO of 3D Networks, an IT venture that focused on developing middlewares in the embedded system.

Mr. Yoon's extensive R&D experiences range from developing embedded system hardware and software to mobile chip solution. His work and interest also include the analysis of current technology and design of future technology such as post-PC, physically integrated mobile service (mobile RFID), and next generation computing platform.

 Mr. Yoon received his 
B.S. in Geology and Computer Science, M.S. and Ph.D. from Yonsei University.
 
   
     
 

Byoung Ok Lee
Vice President
Head of Next-generation
GPU Research Center
  Byoung Ok Lee is a Vice President and Head of Next-generation GPU Research Center who has more than 22 years of experiences in RTL (Register-Transfer Level) design and SoC (System on Chip) development. 

Prior to joining Siliconarts, Mr. Lee held a number of leadership positions at MtekVision in implementing semiconductor developments such as 3D graphics accelerator chip, multimedia processor, NFC reader chip. Before MtekVision, Mr. Lee worked at LG Electronics as Senior Engineer in developing CCD control IC, ISP, h.263 codec, TV encoder chip.

Mr. Lee graduated from Hanyang University with a major in Electronics Engineering.
 
   


     
 

Hee Jin (Colin) Shin
Director/CMO and Co-Founder
Head of Sales & Marketing Group
  Mr. Hee Jin (Colin) Shin is a Chief Marketing Officer who has more than 10 years of sales, marketing, business development and banking experiences in technology and financial services.

Prior to co-founding Siliconarts, Inc., Mr. Shin worked as a Private Equity Associate at Petra Capital Management, a middle market private equity firm, in identifying, analyzing and executing investment opportunities under 'value investing' philosophy. Mr. Shin also worked as Head of Global Synergy Team and Investment Banking Associate at Daewoo Securities where he successfully delivered capital market solutions to major Korean conglomerates and listed companies. Previously,  Mr. Shin was a Global Product Manager at LG Electronics where he managed growth and marketing strategies for LG appliances in the U.S. and European markets. During his time, he accomplished a number of landmark TDR (Tear Down and Restructure) tasks including successful launch of LG laundry products into the world's 2nd largest retailer.

Mr. Shin received his B.S. 
in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Yonsei University and M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
 
         
 

Hyun Seok Lee, CPA
Director of Finance
Head of Management & Finance Group
  Mr. Hyun Seok Lee is a Director and Head of Management and Finance Group who has more than 10 years of experiences in financial advisory, assurance and investment experiences in public accounting and investment management industries.

Prior to joining Siliconarts, Mr. Lee worked at RG Asset Management where he managed various energy-related projects including fund raising, fund planning, deal sourcing and M&A advisory. In addition, as Manager at Samil PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mr. Lee filled numerous positions in Transaction & Financial Advisory Services, Global Capital Market Group and Assurance Services, advising major Korean companies in connection with sell-side advisory, buy-side advisory, capital raising, due diligence, valuation and other GAAP-related assurance practices.

Mr Lee completed his military service as 1st Lieutenant/Reserved Officers Training Corps (ROTC) Officer in the Republic of Korea Army, commanding platoons of 700th Commando Regiment and Guard Company of Capital Corps Headquarter.

Mr. Lee is a Certified Public Accountant (the State of Delaware, active) and earned both his B.S. in Business 
Administration and Physical Education and M.B.A. from Yonsei University.
 
         
 

Woo Chan Park, Ph.D.
Technical Advisor & Co-Founder
  Professor Woo-Chan Park is a Technical Advisor and Co-Founder of Siliconarts  who has more than 15 years of experiences in developing 3D graphics architecture. He currently works as an Associate Professor at the Department of  Computer Science at Sejong University.

While at Sejong University, Professor Park developed the world's best performing real-time ray tracing hardware. This landmark development will put forward in shifting paradigm from current Rasterization to Ray Tracing era in the 3D graphics industry.

Professor Park’s research interests include 3D Rendering Processor Architecture, Ray Tracing Accelerator, Parallel Rendering, High Performance Computer Architecture, Computer Arithmetic, and ASIC Design. (refer to the following link for more information - http://rayman.sejong.ac.kr)

Professor Park received his B.S. M.S., and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Yonsei University.
 
         
 

Young Sik Kim, Ph.D.
Technical Advisor & Co-Founder
  Professor Young-Sik Kim is a Technical Advisor and Co-Founder of Siliconarts who has more than 11 years of experiences in developing SoC and 3D graphics architecture. He currently works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Game and Multimedia Engineering at Korea Polytechnic University.

Prior to lecturing at college, Professor Kim served as a senior engineering position in the System LSI Division of Samsung Electronics where he led various SoC development projects in DSL routers and laser printers. Professor Kim’s research interests include Computer Architecture, Embedded SoC, 3D Graphics Accelerator, and Embedded System.

Professor Kim 
received his B.S. M.S., and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Yonsei University.
