What We Do

We assist low-income/marginalized members of

our community by providing supportive programs directed

towards visitors individual needs

Statistics from the 2011 National Household Census for the town of Aurora alone indicated that 1,815 households were considered low-income.

Welcoming Arms has the opportunity to help families and individuals in our community. We regularly see over 500 individuals through visits to our supportive programs each month; this number has been increasing over time and is projected to continue to increase as economic times worsen. Our challenge remains how we can continue to keep up with the need and in fact, provide more support, if possible.

If you would like to make a donation to Welcoming Arms to help us carry on our work:

Welcoming Arms wishes to thank the following for their generous donations to support our programs:

  • Our sponsoring churches
  • Our many local business and individual supporters
  • Magna's Wild West Hoedown, Empty Bowls, Aurora Mayor's Charity Golf and XI ETA ALPHA fundraising events
