Does your equine best friend need a new forever home? Are you looking for a loving place to retire or rehome your nice horse?

posted Oct 29, 2016, 10:29 AM by Administrator -

Shoestring City Ranch needs a new horse.  He would be surrounded by other horses with a job of teaching animal loving kids, (and a few adults!) horsemanship skills and how to ride.  He is ideally a gelding, a retired western pleasure trained quarter horse would be ideal in our world. He will need to be kind, gentle, have excellent ground manners, trailer, clip etc. and hopefully 15.3 hands tall max. A senior citizen is ok.  The horses he would replace are 30 + years old. Of course a younger horse is most welcome as well if he meets the qualifications above.  Horses at Shoestring City Ranch receive excellent, very loving care from a host of volunteers who are under strict supervision of the founder who has owned and ridden horses all her life.

Shoestring City ranch is a 501c3 charity so the value of a donated horse is tax deductible.

We would also welcome the donation of any and all tack and horse / pony paraphernalia.
