  • Monday, 5/8/2017 We are wrapping up the unit on the Industrial Revolution right now.  Homework: Finish annotating the article from Lesson 8  and be ready to discuss it in class.  There will also be a written response assigned tomorrow.

  • Thursday, 5/4/2017 Finish your newspaper article about the protests against the industrialization that occurred in Europe.  Use the article from Lesson 7 to help and conduct outside research as needed.  It must have a title and at least 3 paragraphs.  You may report on the events in anyway you would like as long as it is something you would find in a newspaper.

  • Thursday, 5/4/2017 Finish the Vietnam handout using the notes, power point is attached.  Homework: Research music from the 1960's and the 1970's and find a song that is protesting the Vietnam War. Send me the link or just write down the song title and artist.  You could also print the lyrics if you can find them.

  • Monday, 5/1/17 We had our final session of SBAC ELA testing during class today.  The few students who need to finish will do so during elective time.  We began taking notes about Vietnam to provide more background information about the country as we study the war.  No homework tonight!
