Sherwood School District Nondiscrimination Policy

The district prohibits discrimination and harassment on any basis protected by law, including but not limited to, an individual’s perceived or actual race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin, marital status, age, mental or physical disability or perceived disability, pregnancy, familial status, economic status, veterans’ status or because of the perceived or actual race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin, marital status, age, mental or physical disability or perceived disability, pregnancy, familial status, economic status or veterans’ status of any other persons with whom the individual associates.  For the complete policy click here.

Grievance Procedure:
Any person who feels he/she has been the victim of discrimination should contact the Executive Director of Human Resources at 503-825-5020. The Sherwood School District has a grievance process in place. The process (including procedures and forms) can be found in policy KL and KL-AR, which are available on the District website.
