Social Sciences Partnerships, Impact and Knowledge Exchange
The Social Sciences Partnerships, Impact and Knowledge Exchange Team (SSPIKE), aims to help facilitate effective collaborations, exchanges and outreach activities which enrich research and ensure a lasting and positive impact on society. As our name suggests, we provide support for external partnerships, Knowledge Exchange (KE) and impact activities across the Faculty of Social Sciences, through a combination of training, financial support, and practical advice. We can help researchers identify possible routes to funding as well as supporting the impact elements of research grant applications, where they align with the Faculty strategy. In addition to this, SSPIKE funding, made up of HEIF and ESRC-IAA support, can enable practical support for KE and impact activities.
The SSPIKE team is also responsible for developing an overarching strategy for policy influence and partnership engagement for the Faculty. View our strategy document here.
