Virtual Reality in Wilson Classrooms

posted Dec 21, 2015, 8:01 AM by Christopher McCaffrey
Students were engrossed in virtual reality at Wilson in November, and if you’ve never experienced
Google Cardboard
Google Cardboard you should give it a try. Google Cardboard turns a smartphone into an immersive virtual reality experience that is simple, fun and affordable. Students were able to experience virtual reality first hand when Rick Lapi, one of the district’s instructional technology coaches, brought several Google Cardboards to Mrs. Shuler's classroom. Please see the pictures below of our 4th grade students’ virtual adventures, and if you like to learn more about how Google Cardboard is being used in the classroom visit Google Expeditions. Google Expeditions extends the use of Google Cardboard,
where teachers can take their classes on immersive virtual journeys to bring learning to life.
